Restatement and Accounting

Integral Financial Group was retained to map a prominent financial services firm’s accounting policies to it’s recently created business requirements processes for their internal purposes and for presentation to governmental agencies IFG was also tasked to lead the company’s security cost basis and guarantee fee amortization restatement efforts which consisted of a cross-functional team of more than 60 individuals. From the period of late 2005 through 2007, the Company successfully restated their 2002 through 2006 fiscal year results. The Company also presented the results of the policy mapping effort to the governmental agency with no significant findings. Finally IFG automated the account reconciliation process for over 500 general ledger accounts between the Company’s multiple subledgers and general ledgers, decreasing the reconciliation timeline from days to hours. The accounting for fiscal year 2007 still continues and IFG is still leading many aspects of the security cost basis accounting effort.
